New Radiology Department, Letterkenny University Hospital

ORHT were delighted to have provided Quantity Surveying services on the recently completed Radiology Department Refurbishment and Extension at Letterkenny University Hospital.

Designed by Cullen Payne Architects and completed by John Sisk & Son the work comprised the remodelling of the existing department on the ground floor and the construction of an extension to house a proposed “Intervention Suite”. The finished project provides CT, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, MRI, general X-ray, and interventional X-ray services for the Hospital, with associated administrative and support areas for staff and patients.

Plás Lorcaín, Latlorcan, Monaghan, Official Opening 25th of November 2019

Paul Ryan of ORHT joined Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation Heather Humphrey, local representatives and members of Monaghan County Council for the official opening of the recently completed Plás Lorcaín Housing Scheme at Latlorcan Co. Monaghan.

ORHT are delighted to have provided Cost Management services to Monaghan County Council on this project which involved the construction of 43 new social housing units built to the highest environmentally friendly and sustainable standards and their associated siteworks. Designed by JNP Architects and built by GEDA Construction ORHT would like to congratulate all those who contributed in bringing this worthwhile project to fruition.

DUBLIN PORT’S OCEAN PIER BERTH 31-34 AND RO-RO JETTY SHORTLISTED FOR ENGINEERING PROJECT OF THE YEAR

ORHT has been working with Dublin Port to deliver a major share of the required capital infrastructure, including Ocean Pier Berth 31-34 and Ro-Ro Jetty.

Congratulations to Keating Construction, as part of the Roadbridge Keating Joint Venture, being shortlisted for two awards for their work on Dublin Port’s Ocean Pier Berth 31-34 and Ro-Ro Jetty at the Engineers Ireland Excellence Awards 2019.

Dublin Port Company (DPC) is developing Dublin Port on the basis of Masterplan 2040. This was first published in 2012 and reviewed and updated in 2018. Development works at Dublin Port are already advanced with construction of the Alexandra Basin Redevelopment (ABR) Project well under way and capital investment of €1 billion planned over the next decade.

Building For Better – SCSI Conference

ORHT’s Paul Ryan and Eoin Wilde attended the SCSI’s National Annual Conference, held in Dublin’s Mansion House on Wednesday 6th November 2019. Expertly guided by MC Valerie O’Keefe the conference offered a wide range of expert opinions on issues affecting the provision of Better Buildings and Better Communities. Congratulations to all the contributors for providing such well informed and interesting presentations.
