Memories of REVO US Tour 2019 – Washington | New York |
Kevin Maguire, ORHT’s Lead Director for overseas work was delighted to join delegates on the REVO US Tour 2019 which visited some of the latest commercial and retail projects in cities throughout New York and Washington. Over the 5 day tour, Kevin as part of the greater cohort, explored the diverse spectrum of mixed use, urban regeneration, cutting-edge retail and waterfront destinations.

New Powerscourt Distillery
Paul Ryan, MD of ORHT is glad to see that the completion of the new Powerscourt Distillery complex is fast approaching. The new distillery commenced production last year and the eagerly anticipated opening of the fabulous new Visitors Centre is now imminent. The project involves the refurbishment of the Estate’s old mill house into a world-class distillery set against the stunning backdrop of the Sugar Loaf Mountain and Powerscourt’s award-winning gardens.
Master Distiller Noel Sweeney will mix barley grown in the surrounding fields with certified mineral water from Powerscourt Estate’s well, using traditional pot still techniques.

No.1 Charlottenburg – Richfest Ceremony
Kevin Maguire, Lead Director for Overseas Projects with ORHT was delighted to recently attend the Richfest (roof topping) ceremony at No.1 Charlottenburg, Berlin. He is pictured raising a toast with Michael Collins (Irish Ambassador to Germany), Kevin Traynor (Cannon Kirk Group) and Charles Cannon (Cannon & Cannon). ORHT are providing specialist risk management services on this prestigious development project for Cannon & Cannon.
Avondale Heights Housing Development Launch 18.12.2018
ORHT were delighted to attend the official launch ceremony for the Avondale Heights Housing Development, in Rathdrum, Co. Wicklow. The social housing development completed as part of the Rebuilding Ireland initiative, delivers a mix of much needed energy efficient, 1-bed, 2-bed and 3-bed, A3 rated dwellings. The development includes eight fully wheelchair accessible units, complete with wheelchair-ready wet rooms.
ORHT provided Cost Management services for the Avondale Heights Housing Development, on behalf of Wicklow County Council and are happy to report that the project was completed within budget.
Roche
Kevin Maguire (ORHT) meets with Geoff Twist, Managing Director, UK & Ireland, Roche at Beaumont Hospital on 15.10.18. ORHT are providing cost management services for the multi phase refurbishment & extension of the existing haematology, immunology and associated blood science laboratory at Beaumont Hospital for Roche.
St. Brigid’s Hospice, Re-Opening Ceremony
ORHT were delighted to attend the official re-opening ceremony for St. Brigid’s Hospice, The Curragh, Co. Kildare. Unveiling the commemorative plaque Minister for Health, Simon Harris, paid tribute to all those whose efforts had led to this landmark day for the hospice.
ORHT provided Cost Management services to the Friends of St. Brigid’s Hospice and the HSE on this project which involved the refurbishment and extension of the existing building to provide 13 ‘state-of-the-art’ bedrooms and support facilities. Congratulations to the Friends, the staff and all their supporters in the community whose hard work ensured this worthwhile project was brought to fruition.
